The Swift Current 16U Boys Junior SunDogs remain consistent in their results during the club volleyball season after making a semi-final appearance at the Huskie Volleyball Club Tournament in Saskatoon over the weekend.

The SunDogs, coached by Adam Wilson and Brandon Schultz, had finished fourth at a Sask Cup tournament in Prince Albert one week earlier.

The SunDogs finished third in their six-team pool with a 3-2 record. They earned wins over JCVC 15U (25-6, 25-20), Laloche (25-18, 25-13), and the Edam Northwest Fury (25-19, 25-23), while suffering losses to the host HVC (22-25, 25-20, 7-15) and PAVC (15-25, 27-25, 11-15).

They rematched with JVC 15U in the quarter-final and beat them easily for a second straight time (25-11, 25-9). The 16U Junior SunDogs rematched with the host team again in the semi-final and lost two close games (23-25, 20-25) to end their weekend.

The next action for the 16U SunDogs will be April 5-6 at the 18U Men SunDogs home tournament.
