The Saskatchewan Winter Games opens the second half today with nine different athletic competitions in Prince Albert
2014 Saskatchewan Winter Games
The second half of the 2014 Saskatchewan Winter Games is underway today in Prince Albert.
Team South West currently sits sixth in the medal standings with 15 totals medals, including three gold, three silver, and nine bronze medals. Regina leads the medal count with 50 medals.
Swift Current's Matt Bayliss won bronze for Team South West in Bowling Special "O" Individual Co-ed. He was also a member of the South West team that won in the Team Co-ed competition along with Swift Current's Kathryn Durant, David Philips, Tyler Piercy-Servant, and Jenae Rutz.
Second-half sports include badminton, biathlon, curling, gymnastics, women's ice hockey, snowboarding, speed skating, table tennis, and wrestling. The second half sports will begin today and conclude Saturday.
