SunDogs close out PAC regular season with wins over Palliser Panthers

The Great Plains College SunDogs volleyball teams wrapped up their Prairie Athletic Conference regular seasons with matches against the visiting SIAST Palliser Panthers Wednesday.

The SunDogs women swept their best-of-five match in three sets (25-16, 25-17, 25-23) to earn the second seed out of the PAC regular season. The second seeded SunDogs will be in Moose Jaw for Provincials this weekend. They will open the tournament against the third seeded SIAST Woodland Wild at 5 p.m. Friday.

The SunDogs men won their match against Palliser in four sets. They won the opening set 25-15 before losing 17-25. The SunDogs closed things out with 25-23 and 25-20 wins to clinch second spot in the regular season. The SunDogs will open Provincials in Moose Jaw against the third seeded SIAST Kelsey Amaruks on Friday at 5 p.m.
