The Speedy Creek Racing Association named four season champions on Sunday at the Season Ender
The Speedy Creek Racing Association put the finishing touches on another racing season with its final race day on Sunday.
The Season Ender hosted racing in all four classes as the cars and drivers battled it out for top spots in each category.
The Advanced 1A Truck Driver Training Hobby Stocks Division was the only racing class where the lead changed hands on Sunday. #5 Destiny Klym held a two-point lead heading into Sunday. It was #11 Tyson Crowe that moved up from second spot to win the season points title after finishing second in the feature behind #96 Dave Koethler. #24 Murray Koethler was third in the feature, followed by #7 Carson Crowe.
#5K Stefan Klym carried a 54-point lead in the Key Energy Inc. Street Stocks standings into the Season Ender. He placed third in the feature to secure the points title. #99 Rocky Alexander won the feature, followed by #35 Mike Dionne in second and #98 Daryl Kehler in fourth spot.
#03 Coty Smith came out on top of the REM Enterprises Thunder Trucks Division. Smith entered the day with a 10-point lead and won the feature race to lock up top spot. #17 Chris Daniel was second in the Thunder Trucks feature, followed by #13 Rene Panasiuk and #59 Shae Barber.
#45 Trent Guest sealed up the Eagle Consulting Modifieds season championship on Sunday. He held an eight-point lead going in and wrapped up top spot with a third-place finish in the feature. #10 Dave Dease won Sunday’s feature, while #59 John Barber was second and #66 Bob Heffer placed fourth in a very close points race.
