Racing fans can get one last dose of racing this month when the Speedy Creek Racing Association hosts two days of racing this weekend.
The SCRA will feature Trucks, Hobbies, Streets, and the IMCA Modifieds all in action on Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.
The Speedy Creek Racing Association was a part of a busy racing weekend on August 10 with the Trucks, Hobbies, and Streets all in action at the Speedy Creek Raceway.
#03 Coty Smith won the Trucks Feature. He was followed by #13 Rene Panasiuk, #01 Stuart Johnson, and #17 Chris Daniel driving for Jenn Schultz.
#5 Destiny Klym took top spot in the Hobby Stock Feature. #11T Tyson Crowe followed in second spot, #88 Trevor Monk was third, and #8 Richard Crowe took fourth spot.
#5K Stefan Klym was the fastest car in the Street Stock Feature. He was followed by #23 Troy Hunter, #35 Mike Dionne, and #98 Daryl Kehler.
Little has been decided so far this season in the points standings. #5K Stefan Klym holds the biggest lead with a 38-point cushion in the Street Stock standings. He leads the way with 275 points, followed by #23 Troy Hunter with 237 points, and #98 Daryl Kehler with 223 points.
#11 Tyson Crowe leads the Hobby Stock standings with 273 points, 31 points up on the next closest driver. #5 Destiny Klym is second with 242 points and #24 Murray Koethler is third with 227 points.
Only 10 points separates the top five drivers in the Modifieds standings. #45 Trent Guest leads the way with 88 points, followed closely by #59 John Barber with 86 points. #66 Bob Heffer and #46 Jason Duclos are both tied with 83 points and #13 Scott Pain is within striking distance with 78 points.
Another close race at the top of the leaderboard comes in the Thunder Trucks standings. #13 Rene Panasiuk leads the way with 276 points, while #03 Coty Smith is second with 274 points. #01 Stuart Johnson sits third with 240 points.
