White Butte RCMP

Members of the White Butte Detachment are currently at the scene of a vehicle fire, located on Highway 46 just west of Tower Road.  Traffic is being slowed down near the scene.  No injuries are being reported at this time. The scene should be cleared in the next hour.

Over 60 calls for service/occurrences reported over 48 hour period including, 4 False alarms, 7 False/Nuisance 911 calls, 1 assistance of Social Services matter, 7 traffic complaints, 4 Municipal Bylaw/Noise complaints.



603 am - 911 call of an unwanted intoxicated person at a residence on 19th Avenue.  Both occupants of the residence were found to be intoxicated and neither wanted the other at the home.  Members drove one of the subject's to another residence so subjects could cool down.


604 am - Rocks thrown through a house window on Trudeau Street.  No suspects yet identified.


610 am - Caller kicked an intoxicated male out of his house after apparently drinking with him all night and now wants members to find him and put him in jail.  Subject not located.


808 am - Call of an altercation in the hallway of an apartment building on St Laurent Drive.  Located female victim at her apartment, suffering from minor injuries.  26 year old male suspect was located approximately a block away and arrested.  He has since been charged with one count of Assault.  He was later released from custody on conditions and is scheduled to appear in court on July 17th at 9 am.


844 am - Call of a truck stolen from Kildeer Drive.  Complaint advising stolen by his ex wife's son.  Vehicle later located by complainant who advised it was never stolen, he just forgot where he parked it.


241 pm - Report of several males out front of a residence on 110th Street arguing and it appears looking to fight.  Members attended and located subjects in a home.  No disturbance occurring any longer and subject warned about noise and activity.


320 pm - Conditions check at a residence on 108th Street.  18 year old male found to be violation of Probation Order, intoxicated and decided to threaten checking officers that he would shoot them.  Arrested and now charged with Uttering Threats and Breach of Probation X 2.  Remanded into custody and will appear in court on Monday July 7th at 930 am.


320 pm - Call of unknown people knocking at a residence on 110th Street and not leaving.  Two very intoxicated males, 27 and 31, located and arrested for Mischief.  No charges pursued by complainant and subjects held in custody until sober.


402 pm - Vehicle and bike collision on 106th Street.  Bike rider found to be grossly intoxicated with warrants for his arrest outstanding.  Not injured in collision.  Arrested and held in custody until sober.


419 pm - Call of an intoxicated male sleeping at the bottom of some stairs on 110th Street.  Subject fell down stairs then fell asleep at the bottom.  21 year old male was checked at scene and found to be uninjured, arrested for Mischief and held in custody until sober.


644 pm - Report of teenagers hiding in the bushes off Territorial Drive and throwing water balloons at passing cars.  Members attended area but suspects not located.


810 pm - Complaint of ex throwing complainant out of the house.  No address provided and subject would not answer any call backs.


814 pm - Numerous intoxicated persons causing a disturbance on 104th Street.  29 year old male charged with Obstruction from providing a false name, Failing to Comply with an Undertaking X 6, remanded and held in custody until his first appearance on July 7th at 930 am.  34 year old male arrested for Public Intoxication facing Liquor Act charges.  29 year old woman also arrested and charged for Public Intoxication.  Three other subjects warned and advised to leave area.


836 pm - Report of some youth entering a parked car on 108th Street.  Patrols for suspects negative.


925 pm - Report of a suspicious male chasing people on 96th Street.  Possible suspect identified and appears to have been in violation of the conditions of a Conditional Sentence Order.  Investigation ongoing.


934 pm - Report of several people drunk and fighting on 15th Avenue who have now separated and left area.  No suspects located.


1033 pm - Two suspicious males attended a home on 102nd Street, appear to have been looking for a previous occupant of home.  Suspects left when they did not locate person they were searching for.   Investigation ongoing.


1122 pm - Several noisy party complaints in relation to a residence on 95th Street.  Subjects warned and no further complaints received.


1154 pm - Patrolling member located an unsecured vehicle on Bunce Crescent which appeared to have been gone through, door left ajar.



1226 am - Complainant reporting she was assaulted and had a window damaged at a residence on 100th Street.  Suspects known to complainant and identified.  Investigation ongoing.


210 am - Noisy party complaint on Mackenzie King Crescent.  Members attended and warned owner who shut down party.


303 am - Another noisy party complaint at a residence on 105th Street, subjects told to move inside and keep noise down.  Suspects complied and not further complaints.


327 am - Complaint of unwanted persons/fights at a house party on Mackenzie King Crescent.  Offending persons had left already when police arrived and home cleared.


500 am - 911 call from a residence on Mackenzie King Crescent, caller stating someone was trying to kill her.  When members arrived she was pretending to sleep.  Confirmed with other occupants of the home she was the caller, no one was trying to harm her, she was just drunk.  25 year old arrested for Mischief and held in custody until sober.


504 am - Caller calling 911 from a cell phone, she is hitchhiking from Big River to North Battleford but has no idea where she is and things she is in Prince Albert.  Located subject on highway near North Battleford, very intoxicated.  Arrested and held in custody until sober.


557 am - Report of people fighting at a residence on 102nd Street.  Upon arrival several intoxicated persons located, no one cooperative about circumstances of call.  28 year old male arrested found to be violation of conditions of his undertaking, charged and remanded into custody until July 7th at 930 am.  Four children apprehended from home as no sober adults in home.


601 am - 911 hang up call at a residence on 102nd Street.  Caller found to have outstanding warrants and arrested.


832 am - Report of an assault at a residence on 109th Street earlier in the morning.  Complainant not injured and suspect has since left.  Investigation ongoing.


1020 am - Complaint of harassing and threatening text messages.  Suspect warned as per wished of complainant.


341 pm - Unwanted person at a residence on St Laurent Drive.  Complainant also very intoxicated wants another drunk person to leave.  Suspect left when police called and everyone now happy.


643 pm - Report of subject violating a no contact order.  Investigation ongoing.


1008 pm - 24 year old male arrested and charged with Failing to comply with an Undertaking X 2, found very intoxicated at a business on Railway Avenue East.


1115 pm - Report of an unknown person trying to get into a residence on Bunce Crescent.  Entry not gained and suspect(s) left area.  Area searched with assistance of Police Dog Unit, no suspects located.




Waskesiu Lake RCMP

Kevin Brian Henderson was arrested in Prince Albert by Prince Albert Police Service at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2014.


Kevin Brian Henderson will make his first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Monday, July 7, 2014, at 9:30 a.m.

Waskesui Lake RCMP advises Kevin Brian Henderson has been located by Prince Albert Police Service and remains in custody pending further investigation to this matter. They wish to thank the public for all their help locating him.

26 year old Shantel Lauren Mike was apprehended yesterday in Prince Albert regarding this investigation and is appearing in Prince Albert Provincial Court today at 9:30 am on her charges.


Waskesiu Lake RCMP are still looking for information on the location of Kevin Brian Henderson. A request to the public, that if seen, to contact the RCMP or Crimestoppers. Do not approach this individual as he may be armed and dangerous.

Waskesiu Lake RCMP Detachment would like to notify the public that 66 year old Marina Henderson has been located.  As a result of the RCMP investigation that originated on the morning of June 30 at the Montreal Lake First Nation, 30 year old Kevin Brian Henderson of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, has been charged with the following offences:


·         Attempted murder;

·         Aggravated assault;

·         Kidnapping;

·         Robbery;

·         Two counts of stealing a motor vehicle;

·         Three counts of failing to comply with a recognizance.


In addition, 26 year old Shantel Laureen Mike of Beardy’s Okemasis First Nation, Saskatchewan, has been charged with the following offences:


·         Attempted murder;

·         Aggravated assault;

·         Kidnapping;

·         Robbery;

·         Two counts of stealing a motor vehicle.


The RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Kevin Henderson and Shantel Mike.  If located, do not approach either of the these individuals as they may be armed and dangerous.  Please call your local RCMP Detachment or Crimestoppers.


2014-06-30 2000 hrs


Waskesiu Lake RCMP are looking for the public's assistance in locating a vehicle and the registered owner that was involved in an early morning investigation today in Montreal Lake Cree Nation. A Red 2000 Chevrolet Venture Van, Sask Licence Plate 031 JDZ is owned by 66 year old Marina HENDERSON from Montreal Lake Cree Nation. Marina is described as first nation, 173 cm and heavy set, brown hair and brown eyes.


Police were called to the Montreal Lake Medical Clinic shortly after 5 am to investigate an assault that occurred. The vehicle the assault occurred in had departed from the scene before police were able to attend. At this time police want to confirm the well being of the parties involved, in particular the registered owner Marina HENDERSON.

Battlefords RCMP

On July 6, 2014 at approximately 7:00 am 58 year old Wally Giesbrecht of Elrose, Saskatchewan left a local hotel on the 16 Highway Bypass in North Battleford to go for a walk.  Giesbrecht inquired with hotel staff about the walking bridges that go over the North Saskatchewan River and the walking paths on Finlayson Island.  When he didn't return to the hotel his family went and searched for him.  Going for walks is a common practice for him, however it is not common for him to be gone for this length of time.


At 10:00 am North Battleford RCMP were called to assist with searching for Giesbrecht.  North Battleford Fire Department deployed their boat into the river and along with the RCMP conducted an extensive search of the North Saskatchewan River, the shore line and Finlayson Island.


Wally Giesbrecht is described as Caucasian, 5'9", 190 lbs, black hair, brown eyes, wearing a grey shirt and beige pants.


It is not determined at this time the reason for him to be missing and the investigation is still on going.
