Yorkton Rural RCMP

Yorkton Rural RCMP are asking the public for their assistance in the following investigation:


Sometime between June 19 and June 23, 2014, a large 45 kilowatt generator was stolen from Ungar Construction yard in Theodore, SK.  The Multiquip WhisperWatt Generator is white in colour, rectangular shaped mounted on a black tandem axle trailer.

Maidstone RCMP

2014-July - 02

1015 Hrs


On June 30, 2014 at approximately 1:55 PM on Highway 303 at Range Road 3265 in the Rural Municipality of Wilton, SK the following incident occurred.


RCMP in Maidstone, SK received numerous calls of a collision at the noted location involving three motor vehicles. Other assisting Emergency Services were dispatched and attended.


A 2000 Ford F150, 1 male 45 yrs old,  single occupant and driver was stopped at the intersection awaiting on-coming traffic to complete a left hand turn from Highway 303 in an East bound direction to enter the Range Road 3265 to travel North bound.  In doing so a 2005 Peterbuilt Semi Tractor Trailer w/ a trailer in tow loaded with steel pipe also travelling East bound, driver is a 59 yr old male collided into the rear end of the Ford F150. The F150 was pushed into on-coming traffic and collided head on into a 2014 Ford Fiesta whose occupants, a male driver, 54 yrs old, and a female passenger, 54 yrs old.


The female passenger died as a result of her injuries. The other vehicle's occupants/drivers were removed from the scene to Saskatoon Royal University Hospital.


With the assistance of an RCMP Traffic Collision Analyst the Maidstone RCMP are continuing to investigate the cause of this collision.



North Battleford RCMP

2014 July 2 1115 am


16 year old youth is facing 15 charges in connection to this incident.  It started shortly after 4:00 am after a call of an erratic driver in the area of 11th Avenue and 108th Street.  Members located the suspect vehicle which failed to stop for police.  No pursuit was initiated at this time.  A second call was received shortly after 430 am of a vehicle crashing into an apartment building on the corner of 15th Avenue and Winder Crescent.  The driver fled the scene but was arrested a short distance away.  The vehicle involved in this matter was discovered to have been previously reported stolen.  The youth remains in custody and will be remanded on charges of Flight, Resisting Arrest, Possession of Stolen Property, Dangerous Driving, Driving while Prohibited, Mischief Over $5,000, Mischief Under $5,000, Impaired Driving and Breach of Probation X 7.  He will make his first court appearance in North Battleford Provincial Court at 930 am on Thursday July 3rd.




436 am - Vehicle struck an apartment building on Winder Crescent and driver fled scene on foot. 16 year old youth located and arrested a short distance away. Youth found to be intoxicated and remains in custody at this time as the investigation is continuing. Numerous charges are pending at this time.

Over 70 calls for service/occurrence reported over last 48 hours, including 12 Traffic complaints, 6 False alarms, 7 Municipal Bylaw/Noise complaints, 1 False/Nuisance 911 complaint,



722 am - Report of two vehicles parked on 1100 block of 109th Street gone through during the night.


758 am - Vehicle driving on Douglas Avenue collided with a parked truck.  Analysis of scene indicates vehicle was travelling at a high rate of speed.  The 47 year old driver of the vehicle was not injured.  No charges have yet been laid, however several are pending.


1106 am - Report of a missing person from a care home.  Subject located approximately an hour later in good health.


1203 pm - Vehicle parked on 1000 block of 108th Street gone through overnight.  Nothing reported missing, items inside thrown around.


153 pm - 51 year old woman arrested for Public Intoxication, located sleeping off 101st Street.


210 pm - 44 year old male arrested and charged for Causing a Disturbance on 101st Street after report of an intoxicated male urinating on the street.


446 pm - Suspicious male in Frontier Mall Parking lot banging on a vehicle window.  Patrols for subject negative.


518 pm - 19 year old male arrested and charged with Assault, Resisting arrest and Breach of Probation after report of a male assaulting a female in a vehicle on Asquith Avenue.   The victim and accused are currently involved in a relationship.  The victim was several months pregnant at the time of the assault but was not injured.  The male has been remanded in custody and will make his first appearance in court on Thursday July 2nd at 930am.


811 pm - Complaint calling to report his vehicle stolen, had numerous different versions of the story, not of which made much sense.  Appears to be in a disagreement with spouse.


815 pm - Report of individuals looking into window of a residence on 104th Street.  Located two of the suspects a short distance away who were taken home and turned over to parents.  No damage to property discovered.


858 pm - Noisy party complaint on 103rd Street, several intoxicated people yelling and drinking outside.  20 year old woman and 23 year old male arrested for Causing a Disturbance and the resident of home warned about the noise.


953 pm - Another noise complaint at same residence on 103rd, found to be one male at residence yelling and breaking things.  27 year old male arrested and held in custody until sober and that ended the problems at that residence.


1003 pm - Noisy party complaint at a residence on 105th Street.  Several underage persons consuming alcohol.  15 year old female arrested on scene and held in custody until sober.


1117 pm - Report of several unwanted intoxicated persons at a home on 105th Street.  29 year old male arrested and facing charges of Failing to Comply with no alcohol conditions.  27 year old male arrested for Mischief, held until sober and released without charges.


1124 pm - 911 call of an erratic driver on 18th Avenue.  22 year old male driver of the vehicle stopped on 100th Street and arrested and facing charges of Impaired Driving and Driving while over .08.


1132 pm - 18 year old woman arrested for Causing a Disturbance on 100th street after call of an intoxicated woman sitting on the street and trying to hitchhike.


1148 pm - Call of an intoxicated male on 18th Avenue, being really annoying and falling all over the house.  52 year old male arrested for Breach of the Peace and held in custody until sober.



208 am - Two vehicle collision on 104th Street.  17 year old driver of one of the vehicles treated and later released from hospital suffering non-serious injuries.  Alcohol is suspected to have been a factor in the collision and the investigation is ongoing.  The driver of the second vehicle was not injured.  Both vehicles were towed from scene.


306 am - Report of a stolen vehicle.  Vehicle taken by complainant's spouse and so no theft committed.


307 am - Report of someone knocking on complainants door.  Subjects left when he did not answer.


531 am - Unwanted, intoxicated male at a residence on 109th Street.  Subject removed without incident.


619 am - 55 year old male arrested for Causing a Disturbance by being intoxicated in public, located sleeping off 101st Street.


1023 am - Report of a 4 year old child missing from residence on Winder Crescent.  Search of area completed with assistance of Police Dog Section.  Child located at a near by park and returned home shortly after 1100 am.


320 pm - 46 year old male arrested for Public Intoxication, found stumbling into traffic on Highway 16 Bypass.


323 pm - Report of intoxicated person no longer wanted at a residence on 114th Street.  Subject removed.


452 pm - Two vehicle collision at 25th Avenue and 99th Street.  One vehicle sustained significant damage and was towed from scene.  One passenger sustained minor injuries but did not require medical attention.  Cause remains under investigation.


834 pm - Report of a possible intoxicated person driving a vehicle on Highway 16 bypass.  Vehicle was located parked near area and a 24 year old woman was arrested and taken into custody.  Investigation ongoing.


929 pm - Report of impaired driver on Railway Avenue East.  Vehicle located and driver sober, however, one passenger had outstanding warrants which were executed.


933 pm - Three youth reported to have ripped a flag off complainant's door on Douglas Avenue.  Suspects not located.


1011 pm - Theft of cash reported on Railway Avenue East.  Investigation ongoing.


1014 pm - Vehicle parked on 103rd street sustained damage to passenger window.


1120 pm - Break and enter to a residence on 900 block of 109th Street some time between 1030 pm and 1120 pm.  Television taken.  Suspects identified, matter remains under investigation.



1203 am - Complainants adult son intoxicated and damaged a window at a residence on 114th street then took off.


1204 am - 19 year old male arrested and charged with Care and Control of a vehicle while Impaired and Care and Control while over .08 after a vehicle check on 104th Street.  Has since been released from custody, first court appearance scheduled for July 21st.


108 am - Complainant reporting her son was almost assault on 100th Street.  Suspects located a short time later and investigation found that complainant's son was looking to fight but no physical altercation occurred.  No charges pursued.


300 am - Vehicle broken into on 800 block of 107th Street.  Suspect described as an older male dressed all in black.  Suspect not located.  Nothing reported taken.


341 am - Vehicle parked on 1600 block of 105th street had tired damaged.


412 am - Report of two males fighting on off 110th Street.  One male located on scene, not injured.  Did not wish to cooperate with investigation.


436 am - Vehicle struck an apartment building on Winder Crescent and driver fled scene on foot.  16 year old youth located and arrested a short distance away.  Youth found to be intoxicated and remains in custody at this time as the investigation is continuing.  Numerous charges are pending at this time.
