Big River RCMP

June 6, 2014

On June 6, 2014, at approximately 715 am, Big River Detachment received a complaint that threats had been made towards staff and students at the Big River High School. Both the Saskatchewan River School Division schools in Big River - TD Michel Community Elementary School and Big River Community High School were locked down. All necessary precautions were taken by the school authorities and the RCMP to ensure the students and staff safety. The investigation revealed that the threats were unsubstantiated. The lock down was lifted at approximately 1:00 pm.



Punnichy RCMP




Punnichy RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 13-year-old Randall Allan McNab.  The Muskowekwan First Nation youth has not been seen by family since June 2nd, 2014 when he advised he was going to visit a friend on the Muskowekwan  First Nation.


McNab is described as  4'7”, brown hair and brown eyes, weighing approximately 70 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black and white Nike sweater, dark blue jeans, a black Adidas hat, and white Adidas shoes with black stripes.  It is believed that he may be in or around Regina or Moose Jaw.


Anyone with information relating to the whereabouts of McNab is asked to contact the Punnichy RCMP detachment at 306-835-5200.  The public can also call their local RCMP detachment,  police service. or Crimestoppers at 1800-222-8477.   Muskowekwan First Nation is approximately 120 kilometers northeast of Regina.



North Battleford RCMP

Approximately 20 calls for service/occurrences reported including 2 false alarms, 3 Municipal Bylaw/Noise complaints.



653 am - Vehicle parked on 2100 block of 100th Street overnight had window damaged.


655 am - Report of stolen quad, had been recovered previous night shift by members.


755 am - Complaint of male unlawfully in a dwelling, matter found to be a dispute between tenant and landlord.  Matter mediated by attending member.


200 pm - Report of an assault on 110th Street.  Initial investigation completed, suspect not yet located, charges still pending.  No injuries reported.


459 pm - Vehicle parked on 1000 block of 107th street was struck by unknown vehicle some time during day, damage to front end.


805 pm - Report of stolen vehicle, was taken by ex boyfriend of owner.  Vehicle returned by subject a short time later and no charges pursued.



411 am - Report of suspicious person, two young males, in area of Henderson Drive who appear to have been checking out vehicles, fled south.  Patrols for subjects negative.
