Members of the Weyburn det are on scene of a two vehicle mvc at hwy 39 and 22 street on the south side of Weyburn.

 

The highway will be closed for the next couple hours.

Southey RCMP

12:15 p.m.

 

On April 26th, 2014 Southey RCMP responded to a break and enter on Piapot First Nation. This incident is believed to have occurred between the hours of 10:00 p.m. 2014-04-25 and 07:00 a.m. on 2014-04-26. Multiple residences in construction were broken into and damaged, and graffiti. Construction equipment possibly worth over $5000 was also stolen.  

 

There have been other incidents regarding break and enters on Piapot First Nation this year that were reported to police.  Community citizens, contractors/companies and others working in the area are reminded to contact the Band Office or the RCMP-GRC to report any suspicious activity or suspected breaking and entering. People reporting these offences should record suspect/vehicle descriptions and license plate numbers, if they are seen, to assist law enforcement with these investigations.

Over 40 calls for service/Occurrences reported, including 5 False Alarms, 5 Municipal Bylaw/Noise complaint, 2 Child Custody Agreement Complaints, 1 False/Nuisance 911 call.

834 am - Missing Person report.  Diane SHEA, 53, last seen on evening on June 1st.  It is believed she may be hitchhiking to British Columbia and witness have been spoken to who advise SHEA has been spoken to claiming to be near Banff, Alberta and on route to visit family.  At this time police have not been able to confirm her whereabouts.  She is described as 5'4", 120 lbs, caucasion, with short black hair.  She was also seen carrying a multi-coloured backpack.

 

1153 am - Account fraud reported.  Few details available as of yet.

 

154 pm - 34 year old male arrested and charged with Public Intoxication, bothering people on 102nd Street.

 

615 pm - 65 year old male arrested and charged with Public Intoxication, located by members having difficulty standing on 101st Street.

 

703 pm - Report of a break and enter to a vacant home on 107th Street, appears to have been individuals contracted to clean up home.

 

756 pm - Members called to mediate a neighbour dispute, both claiming the other sprayed them with a garden hose.

 

8:08 pm - 36 year old woman arrested for Public Intoxication, found by patrolling members extremely intoxicated on 11th Avenue.

 

824 pm - 45 year old man arrested and charged with Public Intoxication, found by patrolling members on 101st Street unable to sit straight.

 

913 pm - Report of missing child, last seen on school bus after school.  Colin LONESINGER, 9, described as being slim, 4' 6", with brown hair and brown eyes.  There have been other past incidents of subject not coming home for period of time, but none reported to police.  Numerous addresses checked over the evening, however, at this time the child's whereabout remain unknown.  Awaiting photos.

 

915 pm - Two intoxicated people walking in traffic on 16 Highway.  52 year old male arrested and charged with Failing to Comply with an Undertaking and a 41 year old woman arrested for Public Intoxication.

 

959 pm - Report of injured male on 101st Street.  Male located suffering from non- serious injuries.  Treated and no indication of cause of injuries provided.

 

1003 pm - Report of extremely intoxicated male on Winder Crescent.  16 year old youth arrested and facing charges of Breach of Probation X 2.

 

1031 pm - Call of a domestic dispute on 108th Street.  Both subjects arguing and agreed to separate for the night to prevent further problems.  Both individuals were slightly intoxicated.

 

1102 pm - Back to same house on 108th street, where one half of the previous argument decided to return home and start up the arguing again.  54 year old woman arrested for Breach of Peace and held in custody until sober.

 

1112 pm - Report of male at a residence on 108th Street causing problems.  38 year old male found intoxicated with numerous warrants for arrest from other jurisdiction and arrested.

 

1123 pm - 16 year old youth arrested for violation of conditions of Deferred Custody Order for consuming alcohol.
