Canora/Sturgis RCMP

At 0900 a.m. Canora/Sturgis RCMP were called to a two vehicle collision on 4th Street and 8th Avenue East in Canora, Saskatchewan.

 

A white 4 door Chevrolet Impala Car rear ended a white 4 door Chevrolet Avalanche Truck on 4th Street.  The female driver of the Impala was transported to Canora Hospital by EMS and then to Regina.  She was conscious and breathing.  Her injuries were found to be non life threatening in nature at this time.  The male driver of the Avalanche did not sustain injuries as a result of the collision.

 

Canora Fire Department was also on scene and assisted with the collision.

 

Road conditions were considered to be good at the time of the collision and alcohol is not believed to have been a factor.

 

The RCMP continues to investigate at this time and possible charges are still being considered.

Maidstone RCMP

2014-05-27

1:25 p.m.

               

On May 26, 2014 at 10:30 a.m., unknown person(s) stole a 2003 Dynapac 66" Sheep Foot packer from a construction site 3 km east of Lloydminster, SK on Highway 303. A witness saw the packer being loaded onto a black tri-axle goose neck trailer with a picker on the front and being pulled by a white Dodge 1 ton dually truck.

Rose Valley/Kelvington RCMP

Structure Fire – RM of Kelvington SK

 

The Rose Valley / Kelvington RCMP and Crime Stoppers are seeking assistance from the public in solving the following incident which happened between 01:00 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. on May 24th, 2014. Five miles east of Rose Valley, Saskatchewan a grass fire spread. All occupants made it out of the residence safely away with no injuries but the residence and all out buildings were lost. The value of the loss is not known at this time.

Rose Valley / Kelvington RCMP continue their investigation.

Rose Valley RCMP

Grass Fire – Lintlaw, SK

The Rose Valley / Kelvington RCMP and Crime Stoppers are seeking assistance from the public in solving the following crime which happened between 00:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. on May 22nd, 2014. During this time a fire was started on the land one mile South East of the Big Sky Pig barns, near Lintlaw, Saskatchewan, and spread through the near by fields. Rose Valley / Kelvington RCMP continue their investigation.

Yorkton RCMP

01:20 am

 

On May 27th, 2014 at 1:20 a.m. Yorkton Municipal Detachment were dispatched to a suspicious person at a residence on York Lake Road.    RCMP members determined that the 18 year old female had walked to the residence and was involved in a single vehicle rollover. Crestvue Ambulance Services attended and transported the female to Yorkton Regional Hospital she is in stable condition.  

RCMP located the involved Black SUV approximately 1 km south of Yorkton, SK on York Lake Road.  Yorkton Fire Protective Services attended the scene and the jaws of life were used.  A 21 year old female was entrapped in the vehicle and was pronounced deceased on scene by the Coroner.  A17 year old passenger was ejected from the vehicle and located by police.  She was transported to Yorkton Regional Hospital and later transported by STARS to Regina General Hospital in critical but stable condition.

 

Alcohol and speed are considered to be a factor.

 

The investigations into this matter is still ongoing.

Fort Qu'Appelle RCMP

In the early morning hours of May 26th, RCMP in Fort Qu'Appelle responded to a complaint of an assault at a residence on the Standing Buffalo First Nation.  As a result of an investigation, an arrest warrant has been issued for Jonathan Edward KINEQUON (DOB:1985.01.12).  KINEQUON has been charged with numerous offences including Forcible Confinement and Sexual Assault.

 

If anyone has information regarding the location of KINEQUON they are asked to call the Fort Qu'Appelle RCMP at 306-332-2222 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (Tips).

Milestone RCMP

09:30 a.m.

 

In late April of this year, RCMP in Milestone received a complaint of a stolen enclosed trailer that had gone missing from an auto dealer in the community of Avonlea, SK.  Also discovered at the time of the theft was a missing "Gator" vehicle that was presumably put inside the trailer and taken off of the property.

 

Investigation has revealed that a black pick up truck (make and model unknown) may have been responsible for this theft.  This type of vehicle was observed early in the morning driving west on Highway 334.

 

The stolen trailer is described as a 2013 Canadian Nighthawk Cargo Trailer.  It is approximately 7" x 16" and has a ramp door on the back of the trailer.  It also has one walk-in door on the side.

 

The stolen Gator is described as having camouflage markings on it.

Approximately 20 calls for service/occurrences reported.  2 Traffic related complaints.  2 Municipal Bylaw complaints.

707 am - 2014 White Toyota Camry with Saskatchewan License 153 JAI stolen from Henderson Drive between 1030 pm and 630 am.  Keys were in vehicle.

 

739 am - Vehicle parked on 1800 block of 103rd reported to have been broken into on Saturday evening.  Only gum taken.

 

938 am - Attempted theft of a vehicle parked on Campbell Crescent during the night.  Damage to ignition panel.

 

311 pm - Complaint of two people passed out in some trees on east side of city.  53 year old woman and 60 year old male both arrested for Public Intoxication.  60 year old male found to be on conditions to have no contact with the 53 year old woman and charged accordingly.

 

843 pm - 53 year old man arrested on 105th Street after report of intoxicated male in complainant's back yard.

 

1013 pm - 56 year old man charged with one count of Assault after altercation with medical staff at hospital.  Court date still pending.

544 am - 1993 Purple Ford Ranger with Saskatchewan License LPN 561 reported stolen from Abbot Avenue.
