The Broadview RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Kelly Allary, a 17 year old First Nation male who was last seen walking on the Ochapowace First Nation on Monday, May 19th, 2014 at approximately 9:00 p.m.
Family and Community members have conducted a ground search near the area where Kelly was last seen, but he has not been located.
Kelly is described as being a First Nation male, approximately 5'9" tall and weighing 165 lbs. He has dyed blonde hair and brown eyes. Kelly was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, blue shoes and dark coloured shorts. Recent photo's of Kelly are attached.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Kelly Allary is asked to contact the Broadview RCMP at 306-696-5200 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
On May 22, 2014 at 2:10 pm, Maidstone RCMP responded to a call of a body on the river bank of the North Saskatchewan River. Canoeists in the area came across the body on the river bank. RCMP members attended and located the human remains approximately 10 km north of Paynton ferry crossing in the RM of Paynton, Saskatchewan.
Maidstone RCMP continue to investigate and will be working in conjunction with RCMP Major Crimes North and Office of the Chief Coroner, to positively identify the remains. Further updates will be provided when they become available.
Maidstone RCMP would like to stress the fact that the identity of the remains located is NOT yet known. It is our hope that following the autopsy, the identity will be known but there is a possibility that further steps may need to be taken to confirm the identity.

North Battleford RCMP are continuing their investigation on this matter. At this point, a thorough examination of the scene has been completed, the evidence appears to suggest the damage sustained to the vehicle on this file is consistent with a blunt instrument having been used to cause the damage. No evidence has been found to link any damage to the vehicle with a firearm.

North Battleford RCMP responded to a call shortly after 9 pm on Thursday May 15th of suspected shots being fired on the 1500 block of 104th Street. A vehicle parked at the scene was found to have sustained damage consistent with a firearm. The area was quickly secured and the scene continues to be held by police. No one was injured during the incident. The home targeted in this incident was previously known to police. The suspect(s) in this matter are believed to have fled the scene in a silver 4 door car.

On Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 8:30 a.m., “F” Division Major Crime North and Saskatoon RCMP General Investigation Section (GIS) arrested 57-year-old Daniel Smith of the Ruthilda, Saskatchewan district (southwest of Biggar, Saskatchewan). Smith was arrested without incident in a rural area near Holdfast, Saskatchewan.
Daniel Smith is charged with one count of:
First degree murder, contrary to section 235(1) of the Criminal Code.
The RCMP would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance with this investigation. Their involvement was essential to bringing the investigation to a successful conclusion.
Smith will appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court, Court Room 1, on Thursday, May 22 at 10:00 a.m.

1120 am - Vehicle damaged over the previous weekend. Suspect known to owner of vehicle.
1230 pm - Cell phone reported stolen from 1500 block of 99th Street.
117 pm - 43 year old male arrested from Breach of Probation on 101st Street. Held in custody and making his first appearance on Thursday May 22nd at 930 am.
139 pm - Shoplifting incident on 101st street which occurred on May 18th reported.
149 pm - Complainant reporting ongoing issues of being harassed online and in person by a person known to them. Investigation ongoing.
159 pm - Uttering threats by phone complaint on Diefenbaker Drive.
241 pm - 34 year old male arrested on 101st Street for Public Intoxication, found stumbling around and having difficulty standing by patrolling member.
252 pm - Complainant reporting someone hacking into email account.
619 pm - Vehicle damaged by complainant's ex on 1400 block of 101st Street.
730 pm - 53 year old woman arrested for Public Intoxication after complaint of intoxicated person on Railway Avenue East bothering customers of a local business.
906 pm - 44 year old man arrested for Public Intoxication, bothering people on 101st Street.
1127 pm - Members responded to a 911 call to a hotel, the intoxicated complainant stating someone had sprayed something under the door of his room and his eyes were now burning. Turned out to be cleaning staff spraying air freshener in the hallway.
1212 am - 24 hour suspension issued to the driver of a vehicle on Highway 4 after complaint received of possible impaired driver coming into city.
201 am - 53 year old woman arrested for Public Intoxication on Railway Avenue East.
239 am - Complaint of arguing/fighting at a residence on 103rd Street. A 39 year old male was arrested on outstanding warrants from another jurisdiction. Investigation ongoing.
