Yorkton RCMP


11:53 a.m.


Yorkton Municipal RCMP, Yorkton Fire and Yorkton EMS responded to a complaint of a male who attempted to set fire in the new medical clinic that is currently under construction.  Upon arrival at the construction site the male was taken into custody without incident and without any significant damage caused to the building. 




Fort Qu'Appelle RCMP





At 12:40 pm, Richard Daniel Wolfe turned himself in at the Fort Qu'Appelle RCMP Detachment and was arrested without incident. Richard Daniel Wolfe will be remanded and remain in custody until Thursday, April 10, 2014 where he will be brought before the provincial court in Fort Qu'Appelle.

The victim of the assault is an adult female, this offence occurred in the Town of Fort Qu'Appelle.


Richard Daniel Wolfe was serving an 18 year sentence for convictions in 1996 out of Manitoba for Attempt Murder Section 239 C.C., Robbery Section 344 C.C., and use of a firearm while committing an indictable offence Section 85(1)(a) C.C.. Wolfe was also convicted in 1999 on charges of Assault Causing Bodily Harm Section 267(b) C.C. and Disguise with intent Section 351(2) C.C. and received an additional 2 year consecutive sentence. Richard Daniel Wolfe had served 2/3 of his sentence and has been on statutory release since September of 2010.

On the morning of April 6, 2014, the Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP received a call to investigate a sexual assault that occurred at a residence in Fort Qu’Appelle.  As a result of the investigation, RCMP charged 38 year old Richard Daniel Wolfe with Sexual Assault and Assault with a weapon. Richard Daniel Wolfe is now wanted on a Canada wide warrant for breaching his statutory release, this matter is still under investigation by the Fort Qu'Appelle RCMP.





Carlyle RCMP


11:24 a.m.


Monday, March 7, 2014, at 7:02 p.m., Carlyle RCMP responded to a complaint of a single vehicle rollover on the main grid road on the White Bear First Nation.


Upon arrival, RCMP members found a red Pontiac Grand Am had rolled several times and two of the five occupants were ejected.


Four of the five occupants were transported to Arcola Health Centre in Arcola, Saskatchewan and the fifth occupant, a 22-year-old female from White Bear First Nation, declined medical attention.


The driver of the vehicle, an 18-year-old female from Carlyle, remains in Arcola Health Centre for observation. A 17-year-old female from White Bear First Nation, died in hospital.  A 22-year-old female from Stoughton and an 18-year-old female from White Bear First Nation, suffered what were described to be serious injuries and were transported by STARS to hospital in Regina.   A member of the Yorkton Forensic Traffic Collision Unit attended the scene and is assisting with the investigation.


The name of the victim will not be released, at the request of the family.


Alcohol and speed are considered contributing factors in the collision. The investigation is continuing and charges are pending.

Over 30 calls for service.  3 Alarms responded to, all found to be false.  3 Traffic related complaints.  1 false/nuisance 911 call.



644am - Attempted theft of a vehicle on 1400 block of 112th Street, some time between midnight and 6am.  Vehicle sustained damage to steering column.


644am - Second vehicle on same block also appears to have been targeted for theft, also unsuccessful.


955am - Vandalism to a lamp on 900 block of 108th Street, occurring some time between 5pm last night and this morning.


1114am - Complainant reporting his girlfriend had popped all his tires and stolen a window out of his vehicle.  Tires found not to have been damaged but air was let out.  Suspect then removed a duct taped side window from the car but while police were there returned to window and apologized.  Everything was now fine again, until subjects started arguing about something else.


1200pm - Complainant reporting ex boyfriend as her cell phone and won't give it back.


1207pm - 1992 White GMC Suburban with Saskatchewan License 336 HEV reported stolen from Mackenzie King Crescent.


251pm - Report of a vehicle fire on 107th Street.  North Battleford Fire Department in attendance, no persons injured, vehicle did sustain some significant damage to the motor.


449pm - Report of youth running away from group home.  Jonathan GUNVILLE, 15, is still missing, he is approximately 5' 4", 110lbs, thin, with curly blonde hair and blue eyes.


659pm - Report of a heavily intoxicated youth at a residence on 114th Street causing problems.  15 year old female was located showing severe signs of intoxication and reported to have ingested a large amount of alcohol.  Transported to hospital for treatment.


930pm - Complainant reporting her 13 year old son took her cell phone and won't give it back.


942pm - Report of several people walking on 19th Avenue who appear to be trying to open vehicles.  5 subjects between the ages of 13 to 24 located.  13 year old youth is currently charged with Obstruction, and a 15 year old with Failing to Comply with an Undertaking.  Investigation ongoing.


949pm - Two youth reported running away from a group home.  Hannah Bolig, 13, is approximately 5' 3", 125lbs, Brown hair with brown eyes, wearing a blue hoodie with a Michael Jordan Crest on it.  Elsie Rainey, 14, is originally from Davis, Saskatchewan, and was wearing a navy blue hoodie, black pants and has black hair.


1046pm - Complaint of a woman walking down 100th Street throwing wine bottles at vehicles.  23 year old woman was located and arrested for public intoxication.



201am - 42 year old man arrested and charged with Impaired Driving and Driving over .08 after a vehicle stop on near Don Ross Hill.
