UPDATED: RCMP searching for missing Herbert man

The Morse RCMP are now being assisted by the RCMP Major Crime Unit South in their efforts to locate  Henry Gin, a Herbert man who has not been seen for approximately three weeks.

Investigators have determined that Gin was last seen around Sept. 6. Gin is a diabetic and requires his medication.

A ground search of the community of Herbert was completed, with the assistance of the Volunteer Fire Department, RCMP Search and Rescue, and Civilian Air Search and Rescue Association. Searches are being conducted in the area around Herbert as well.

Gin is described as a 79 year old male of Chinese decent, 5'2", 120 lbs, with grey/white hair, brown eyes and walks with a limp. He may be wearing grey pants and a red baseball hat. 

Anyone who has observed a male matching this description or who possesses information on his whereabouts is requested to contact the Morse RCMP at 306-629-4100 or Crimestoppers.
