A man suffered non-life threatening injuries on Saturday in an aggravated assault.
Patrol members from the Prince Albert Police Service responded to the 1900 block of 14th Street West at 8:20 a.m. after receiving an aggravated assault complaint.
Upon arrival, police spoke to a 22-year-old victim who said that he had been walking home when two males approached him asking for a cigarette.
The victim was unable to provide a cigarette and was in turn attacked. One of the males struck the victim with a 2 x 4 before fleeing.
The victim was unable to provide any description of his attackers. Parkland Ambulance responded to the scene and transported the victim to the Victoria Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
