RCMP warn of continued problems with thefts from unlocked vehicles

Swift Current RCMP are again reminding city residents to lock their vehicles to avoid thefts by individuals "car shopping".

RCMP report that approximately $800 was stolen from unlocked vehicles during the overnight hours of May 2. The vehicles were entered by an unknown person or persons, who went from one vehcile to another looking for unlocked doors.

The RCMP is urging the public to not leave things of value in their vehicles, and to always look the doors of their vehicles and homes when unattended.
