Looking for an old fashioned good time on New Year’s Eve? Then consider being part of an old time dance party at the Legion Hall in Swift Current.

The Good Tyme Dance Club is joining the community effort to raise funds to renovate the Legion Hall by donating all proceeds from this event to the Legion Building Fund. Advance tickets are $30 per person and tickets and table reservations are available at the Legion Office. The old time dance party will be limited to 250 to insure adequate room for dancing. A midnight meal will be served after celebrating the start of the New Year with the traditional singing of Auld Lang Syne.

Conrad and his Prairie Pals, a five piece band from Shaunavon will be playing a variety of dance music including waltz, polka, country, two step, rock and roll, fox trot, barn dance, seven step and schottische.

The Good Tyme Dance Club hosts regular monthly dances at a smaller venue but decided to get on board with fundraising for the Legion by hosting this New Year’s Eve Special. For more information on the New Year’s Eve Dance Party or the Good Tyme Dance Club call 306 773 5401
