The Swift Current Rural RCMP are seeking the public's assistance in locating the individuals responsible for a pair of recent thefts.
Sometime between Sept. 12 and the early morning hours of Sept. 14, a large number of batteries were stolen from RV trailers stored in a compound located on the 2000 block of Chaplin St. W. in Swift Current.
Wiring and cables attached to the batteries were cut off by the culprits, causing thousands of dollars in damages along with the theft of the batteries.
Sometime during the overnight hours of Sept. 19, approximately 400 to 500 liters of clear diesel was stolen from a bobcat and dump truck that had been working on a farm property near Hazlet. The farm property is visible from #332 Highway. The value of the fuel is approximately $700.
