Jogger recovering following hit and run collision in Swift Current

Swift Current RCMP are seeking the motorist responsible for a hit and run which sent a Swift Current jogger to hospital.

RCMP report that at approximately 10 p.m. on Friday, a jogger was hit from behind while crossing the intersection of 3rd Ave. N.E. and Cheadle St. E. by the Swift Current Fire Hall. The jogger was knocked to the ground and had his shoe knocked off by the impact.

The jogger was taken to the Cypress Regional Hospital and is now recovering from his injuries.

The Swift Current City RCMP and Crime Stoppers are looking for information from the public to help identify the suspect who fled the scene driving a silver Pontiac Sunfire or Chevy Cavalier with tinted windows.
