A White Bear resident is facing 12 criminal charges after Kyle RCMP members were seeking the man in connection to warrants for several other offences.
On May 5, Kyle RCMP members were in White Bear search of a resident of the community who had several warrants. While arresting the man at his White Bear home, they detected a strong smell of marijuana coming from the house.
They obtained a search warrant and located 17 marijuana plants, four partially dried marijuana plants, multiple bags of marijuana, plus four firearms.
Rodney Lee Richie, 68, of White Bear, is facing a trio of charges under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, including charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, production of marijuana, plus possession of marijuana over 30 grams. He was also charged with a series of Criminal Code offenses, including six counts of criminal harassment, three counts of indecent exposure to a person under 16, plus possession of a firearm without a license.
