RCMP seeking information regarding lost oilfield equipment

The Swift Current Rural RCMP are seeking information regarding a large oilfield tool which went missing in Gull Lake on July 27.

RCMP report a large oilfield tool fell out of the back of a truck that was driving from one side of Gull Lake at approximately 12:05 p.m. on July 27. When the owner of the tool went back to pick it up a few minutes later it was gone.

The tool, owned by Four Star Ventures from Gull Lake, is a "testing sub". The equipment is approximately one metre long and 17 centimetres in diameter and weighs 30 kilograms. The tool is threaded on both ends.
