Swift Current Fire Department personnel spent two hours on the scene of a baler fire on Saturday afternoon near Waldeck.
At approximately 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, the Swift Current Fire Department was called to the scene of a bailer fire which also ignited the surrounding hay field. When they arrived, the baler was completely engulfed in fire.
The baler was extensively damaged in the fire, and crews were on the scene for two hours extinguishing the fires.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
