Swift Current RCMP warning of donation scam

Swift Current City RCMP are warning the public not to donate funds to a non-existent fundraiser.

RCMP are investigating reports of a suspicious person making phone calls to city residents trying to solicit money to "increase security" at the Swift Current Comprehensive High School. School officials have confirmed this is not a legitimate fundraiser.

Anyone with information on this matter is asked to contact the Swift Current City RCMP Detachment at 778-4870 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
