One motorist was taken to hospital following a two vehicle accident in downtown Swift Current on Thursday afternoon.

One motorist was taken to hospital for precautionary reasons following a two vehicle accident in downtown Swift Current on Thursday afternoon.

Emergency crews responded to an accident at the corner of North Railway St. and 2nd Ave. N.W. shortly after 3 p.m. on Thursday.

The roadway remained closed for a brief period as members of the Swift Current Fire Department were involved in a clean up of the scene.
