Constable Jennifer Lepage, a 12-year veteran of the RCMP, has been recruited to the position of School Liaison Officer for Swift Current Comprehensive High School, the City of Swift Current announced Aug. 27.

The City of Swift Current, the Chinook School Division and the RCMP are pleased with the appointment.

“The City is thrilled to deliver on its commitment of a safe and caring community,” said Susan Motkaluk, Chief Administrative Officer of City of Swift Current. “We are excited to welcome this new member of the RCMP to Swift Current.”

Cst. Lepage trained as a Youth Officer and has two and a half years of experience as a Liaison officer in North Battleford, where she divided her time among three schools. She enjoys working with youth, schools and parents. She is married with two children and is active in the community.
