Cypress Motors celebrating one year at new location

Cypress Motors hosted a fund-raiser car wash Aug. 22 with all proceeds going to the SCCHS Colts football team. Brushing up on their detailing skills are Mayor Jerrod Schafer, Cypress Motors Dealer Principle Jeff Parsons, Magic 97 morning host Ryan Switzer, Jason Parsons, Cypress Motors Fixed Operations Manager and SCCHS Colts Coach Derek Murdoch.

Cypress Motors celebrated its first anniversary at its new location on 2234 South Service Road W Aug. 22 with a fund-raising car wash, in addition to burgers, cake, and draws for prizes.

The car wash was in support of the SCCHS Colts Football team and cost $5. Students processed 60 vehicles and Cypress Motors topped up the funds to $500.

"We’ve got burgers going on there for free, cake inside, a prize draw every half hour of $100 for parts, service, autobody and detailing, and at 5 p.m. we draw $1000 towards a new or used vehicle,” Customer Service & Business Development Manager for Cypress Motors Pat Rokochy said the day of the event.
