Spring Street Sweeping Program begins April 16

The City Public Works Department plans to move into the residential areas to carry out the 2012 Spring Sweeping Program beginning April 16.

Residents are asked to move their vehicles off the street to allow for a thorough sweeping.  Sweeping of residential areas will be carried out between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The residential neighbourhoods have been separated into 14 areas and the intent is to sweep one of these areas daily.

Areas No. 9 & 10 are scheduled for sweeping on April 16, 2012

Area No. 9 includes the following streets located East of 13th Ave. NE; South of Hillcrest Drive; West of 19th Ave. NE and North of Walker St.:

·        Ashley Dr.

·        MacDonald Dr.

·        Taylor Dr.

·        Laurier Dr.

·        Bell St.

·        Bell Place

·        Winnie St.

·        Chaplin St.

·        14th Ave. NE

·        15th Ave. NE

·        16th Ave. NE

·        17th Ave. NE

·        18th Ave. NE

Area No. 10 includes streets located between 19th Ave. NE, and Highway No. 4 and between Hillcrest Drive and Walker Street:

·        Hillcrest Dr.

·        Hillcrest Place

·        Whyte Avenue

·        Whyte Place

·        MacDonald Crescent

·        MacDonald Place

·        Vance Avenue

·        Hayward Place

·        19th Ave. NE

·        20th Ave. NE

·        21st Ave. NE
