Telehealth sessions will cover interesting topics

The Cypress Health Region is inviting the public to attend a pair of upcoming Telehealth events hosted at the Cypress Regional Hospital.

On Jan. 20 the Telehealth Saskatchewan Network will be featuring the session Exercise vs. Diabetes - How to Fight Back. This session will provide practical solutions to treating diabetes. Guest speaker will be Geoff Stewart, an Exercise Therapist with the Kelsey Trail Health Region. This event is hosted at the Hospital's Conference Room #1 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Interested participants are asked to RSVP to Charlene Baron at 778-9465.

A second Telehealth session on Medication Safety will be hosted on Jan. 26 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. This meeting will provide information on the importance of knowing about the medications you are taking. This session features Kelsey Trail Health Region Pharmacy Director Barry Lyons. Those interested in participating are asked to pre-register before Jan. 23 by calling 778-9465.
