The jaws of life were used to rescue the driver of a mini van involved in a two vehicle accident in Swift Current on Friday night.
At approximately 9:50 on Friday night a mini-van and pickup truck collided in the 300 block of 6th Ave. S.E. The mini-van was on its side following the collision, with the female driver trapped inside. The Swift Current Fire Department notes that the mini van was very unstable following the crash, so emergency crews were required to shore up the vehicle before completing the rescue.
An adult male and female were transported to hospital by ambulance with undetermined injuries.
Swift Current City RCMP continue to investigate the accident.
