It's that time again when those of the Christian persuasion will again belabor us with stories about 'a savior is born'. I don't know about you, but I have a problem trying to figure out if these stories are something more than myth.
My friend told me a little secret. Says he, the only place you can learn about this event is in the Christian Bible. (That's not all that surprising). Matthew, Chapter 1 verses 18 to the end of Chapter 2, and Luke Chapter 2 verses 1-40.
He says these stories are in disagreement one with the other. I checked this out in my King James Bible and sure enough they are contradictory on every point.
But, to keep this short, maybe those persons that claim to know all about these glad tidings, could enlighten us which of the two stories should be discarded. They both cannot be true.
Christmas stories disagree with each other
