The Summer Salon Walk and Talk with Artists event takes place at 7:30 p.m. on July 21 at the Art Gallery of Swift Current, with musical entertainment by Stacy Tinant of Ponteix.
The annual invitational Summer Salon showcases professional and emerging professional artists from the southwest, allowing them to exhibit their work in a professional art gallery setting while offering patrons an opportunity to become aware of new talent in the region.
Each year, the salon exhibition presents a variety of artists with diverse forms of expression encompassing abstraction, photography and film as well as traditional forms of artwork.
A portion of proceeds from the sale of artworks will go to support programming at Art Gallery of Swift Current with the balance supporting the artist.
The Summer Salon exhibition runs until Sept. 1.
