CTV Hometown Tour swinging through Swift Current

Co-anchors Danelle Boivin and Dan McIntosh will be broadcasting CTV Regina's supper hour news from Swift Current on Sept. 24.

Swift Current is the first of five stops on the week long fall CTV Regina Hometown Tour, with other stops in Whitewood, Foam Lake, Nokomis, and Regina Beach.

The anchors will have an opportunity to tour the city, visiting various attractions and locations in the community.

Barbecued hamburgers will be served at Market Square starting at 5 p.m., with donations accepted for the Swift Current United Way. People are also invited to bring a non-perishable food items for the Salvation Army Food Bank.

Community members are asked to wear their school t-shirts, team jersey, organization uniform as a way to show your Swift Current pride to the CTV Regina viewing audience. The live broadcast is scheduled for Memorial Park (weather permitting) starting at 6 p.m.

Previous editions of the Hometown Tour have included Southwest stops in Hazlet, Eastend and Lafleche.
