A group of 2012 graduates from across the Southwest can boast being among the top 500 high school graduates in Saskatchewan.
Earlier this week the Ministry of Education awarded $400 Saskatchewan General Proficiency Awards to the highest achieving high school students based on their Grade 12 marks.
In the Chinook School Division a total of 18 students achieved top 500 status:
Cabri School - Russell W. Green.
Frontier School - Megan Carol Joyce Fyfe.
Leader Composite School - Alexander Reed Sletten.
Maple Creek Composite School - Andrea Marie Frey.
Shaunavon High School - Madeline Jean Collins; Kaelyn Janae Fuller-Oberle.
Swift Current Comprehensive High School - Ryan Glen Anderson; Natasha Rene Cleaveley; Brady James Frank; Tenille Rae Gering; Taylor Rae Harder; Kaitlynn Marie Kern; Timothy James Tolentino Lantican; Alicia Dawn Neustaeter; Daseul Park; Brooke Michala Pollock; Chelsea Dawn Ziegler.
In the Booster readership area, the following students also received Saskatchewan General Proficiency Awards:
Lafleche Central School - Meagan Kari Cojocar.
