More than 175 students from the region are already registered for the morning tour at the Semiarid Prairie Agricultural Research Centre on Oct. 16 to learn more about the connection between SPARC’s research and the food on peoples’ plates.
The public is invited to attend these free events between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. or between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. to discover the links between science and farming through interactive tours, exhibits and activities. The experts at SPARC are contributing to modern agriculture by helping the sector produce healthier, higher quality, more environmentally sustainable and abundant food for the world.
