CTV Regina co-anchors Danelle Boivin and Dan McIntosh broadcast live from Swift Current Sept. 24 on CTV News at Six with the support of a large crowd gathered at Market Square for the event. Every Swift Current mascot was on hand to share in the fun.

Entertainment was provided from 4 to 6 p.m. by The Midnight Roses, featuring Paula McGuigan on bass, vocals by Myshel Pajuuar and Eliza Doyle on banjo, with guest Carl Penner on guitar.

Prior to the broadcast, Boivin and McIntosh took the Tour to several Swift Current sites, including the outdoor classroom at Central School, the Hockey Hall of Fame, the Newcomer Welcome Centre, the Semi-Arid Prairie Agricultural Research Centre and the Lyric Theatre.

Premier Brad Wall made a special appearance during the CTV Hometown Tour broadcast at 6 p.m.
