Swift Current's Vincent Houghtaling is one of four people hired by SaskCulture to assist communities plan for Culture Days across the province on Sept. 28 to 30.
As one of the four Culture Days Animateurs, Houghtaling will be working with a variety of activity planners across the province to brainstorm ideas, hold workshops and come up with innovative ways to engage the public in the cultural life of their communities.
Houghtaling has his Bachelor of Music in Performance from the University of Regina, and he is a versatile low brass musician, having performed solo and in many ensembles on tuba and bass trombone.
