The Summer Salon runs at the Art Gallery of Swift Current until August 27

The Art Gallery of Swift Current's annual invitational Summer Salon opened July 4 and held its well-attended Summer Party and guided tour with the artists on the evening of July 16.

The Summer Salon provides an opportunity for patrons to become aware of some of the professional and aspiring professional artists practicing in the Swift Current region. This exhibition features a compelling variety of art forms including visual art, fibre art, sculpture, photography, film and fine crafts spanning genres including contemporary, abstract and impressionism.

The Swift Current Art Gallery is open Monday to Thursday from 1 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Friday through Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.
