Irwin School duo win double accolades at Canada Wide Science Fair

Two students from O.M. Irwin School brought home recognition from the Canada-Wide Science Fair in Toronto this past week.

The tandem of Lauren Levorson-Wong and Kaitlin Olmsted received an Excellence Award - Junior Bronze Medal for their project Magnets: Farm Tool of the Future.

They were also awarded a University of Western Ontario Scholarship, earning bronze medal status and a $1,000 entrance scholarship.

Ricki Doyle, a Grade 10 student at Herbert School, attended the Canada-Wide Science Fair in the intermediate age category with her project The Fungus Amongus.
