Great Plains College holding official opening on May 27

A series of dignitaries will be on hand for the grand opening of the $13.5 million expansion and renovation project at the Great Plains College Swift Current Campus on May 27.

Premier Brad Wall along with Cypress Hills-Grasslands MP David Anderson are among the confirmed guests attending the official opening ceremonies of the nearly completed multimillion dollar project which was funded jointly by the federal and provincial governments.

Newly introduced Great Plains College president and CEO David Francis will also be speaking during the 2 p.m. ceremony.
