Municipal election polls open

Municipal election polls are now open across the province, with voters able to have their say who will represent them on schools boards, rural municipalities plus city and town councils.

In Swift Current, municipal polls are open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Lee Ann Thibodeau, Returning Officer for the City of Swift Current, reminds city voters that there are four voting locations:

- If you live on the South Side, you vote at Fairview School.

- If you live North of the #1 Highway, you vote at the Swift Current Museum.

- If you live West of 6th Avenue NE, you vote at the Lt. Col. Clifton Centre (formerly the Rec Centre)

- If you live East of 6th Avenue NE, you vote at the Credit Union i-Plex.

Voters are also reminded to bring a photo ID to their polling station.
