A series of advance polls are occurring in Swift Current in advance of the Municipal Election on Oct. 24.
The second and final voter advance poll for Swift Current is occurring Saturday (Oct. 20) from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the the Lt. Col. Clifton Centre (formerly the Recreation Centre). This advance poll is specifically for those individuals who are unable to vote on Election Day. The poll is also open to individuals who have been appointed as election officials, or individuals who are physically disabled.
Advance Polls are also being hosted specifically for residents of Swift Current senior homes.
Wednesday featured advance voting at the Pioneer Manor (10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.) and Riverview Village (1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.). Today, residents can vote at The Bentley (10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.) and Heritage Towers (1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.). The final two seniors locations to vote will be offered on Friday at Prairie View Lodge (9 a.m. to 10 a.m.) and Golden West Manor (11 a.m. to noon).
