Swift Current's New Year's Baby Arrives on January 2

The new year was only 25 hours old when Swift Current welcomed the 2010 New Year's Baby.

At 1:01 a.m., Juliana Emily LeFaive arrived at the Cypress Regional Hospital to the excitement of parents Ryan LeFaive and Jennifer Aguirre of Gull Lake.

The baby's due date was January 2, so the arrival was not unexpected for the first time parents. The baby weighed 5 lbs., 14 oz.
