Four Celtic Voices and The Blakely Irish Dancers will be featured on March 28 and 29
There will be a different group of performers delivering the celtic flair during the seventh performance in the Swift Current Allied Arts Council 2013-2014 Stars for Saskatchewan series.
The March 28 evening was originally scheduled as a performance by The Women of Ireland, but due to circumstances beyond their control the group will not be appearing in Swift Current.
Equally anticipated will be a performance by Four Celtic Voices and The Blakely Irish Dancers.
Four Celtic Voices feature the talents of Celeste Ray, Carol Crittenden, Maria Banks and Alison Crossley. The quartet is led by Ray, a composer singer who boasts a lengthy performance background which includes a performance at Carnegie Hall.
Four Celtic Voices boast a chart topping album, with their 2009 release Four Leaf Clover debuting at the top of the Billboard World Music Chart.
Their performance will feature sweet harmonies and toe tapping Irish favourites, with talented musicianship by the ladies and a sizzling rhythm section.
The energetic Blakely Irish Dancers enhance the program with the brilliant athleticism seen only in traditional Irish dance, as they tap and twirl across the stage in their colourful, traditional Irish costumes.
Be sure to catch Four Celtic Voices and The Blakely Irish Dancers during one of their two performances at the Sky Centre on March 28 and March 29.
