Parent Awareness nights are going to be offered during the Student Led Conference nights at the Swift Current Comprehensive High School on Nov. 14 and Nov. 19.

Meghan Hanna with Addiction Services will be at Student Services for a presentation on Signs and Symptoms your child may be using alcohol and/or drugs...what to look for and potential resources. Sessions will be hosted at The Hive on both Nov. 14 and Nov. 19 at 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Interested individuals are invited to attend which-ever session suits your schedule best.

Parents also have an opportunity to attend a series of information sessions scheduled for lunch hour over a series of three consecutive Mondays.

Child and Youth Mental Health and Addictions Services are running a series of one hour “bag lunch” noon hour information sessions on Parenting Challenges.

Nov. 18 - Parenting the Depressed Child/Youth (Registration deadline Nov. 13).

Nov. 25 - Parenting the Self-harming Child/Youth (Registration deadline Nov. 20).

Dec. 2 - Parenting the Addicted Child/Youth (Registration deadline Nov. 27).

All sessions will be held at the EI Wood Building fourth floor Conference Room.
