The City Swift Current Light and Power Department has scheduled a planned power outage for the morning of April 15 from 4:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. to complete a portion of the 2008 conversion project.
The general areas that will be affected include:
From 4th Avenue NW to 17th Avenue NE between North Railway Street and Herbert Street (Excluding the east side of the zero, 100 and 200 blocks of Central Avenue N and the west side of 1st Avenue NE)
From 2nd Avenue SE to 6th Avenue SE between South Railway Street and Friesen Street.
From 11th Avenue SE to 18th Avenue SE including Pipers Addition subdivision and the Exhibition Grounds.
