The National Unemployment Clock made an unscheduled stop in Swift Current on Saturday.
The clock is part of a campaign sponsored by the Telecommunications Workers Union (TWU), attempting to raise awareness about the fact that large international corporations are moving jobs outside of Canada.
The campaign includes an online petition urging Canadians to sign the petition that will be forwarded to Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Minister of Labour Rona Ambrose voicing their concerns about these jobs going offshore.
